Meet the Trainer
Hi I'm Danielle Tree and I'm the head trainer at Guildford Dog School.
Also pictured are my two best friends, 14 year old Loulabelle and 13 year old Pixie.
I have had Loula from eight weeks old, so I have been through all of the new puppy ownership challenges. Whilst I know it can be full of ups and downs, I can't tell you what I would give to rewind time and be able to do it all over again with her. 14 years has flown by and although we have shared endless adventures and happiness together, it is never enough.
Pixie bounced into my life at 13 months old. Full of joy and mischief, this little Poodle really tested my training capabilities! I learnt so much through working with her, having a rescue dog is so rewarding.
I used to train and compete agility with both of them before they retired recently.
I also have 3 lovely cats and 4 hilarious pet ducks.
As well as being a fully qualified, accredited member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, I am also a member of the Pet Professional Guild, a Gold member of the Pet Professional Network and a Tug-e-nuff Partner. I have over 24 years experience of working with dogs. My first weekend job was at a local boarding kennels, cattery and grooming parlour at just 13 years old.
My own dog walking company - Field of Fun - is seventeen years old and I offer grooming. I also work a few afternoons a week in a Guildford veterinary practice.
I absolutely love running my training classes! Seeing all of the owners and puppies develop and improve on their journey is unbelievably rewarding. It's safe to say I've had a lifetime surrounding myself with my passion and this training school is a huge part of that. I look forward to meeting you and your new best friend soon.
